Phil Neville persuades Mourinho to give Marcus Rashford a starting place against Leicester City

PHIL-NEVILLE-football news

Football News – Former Manchester United defender Phil Neville believes Marcus Rashford has done enough to earn a starting place against Leicester City.

Rashford, who once again found himself a substitute for United’s EFL Cup clash against Northampton, came off the bench to change the game as the Red Devils ran out 3-1 winners.

Given limited chances by the Portuguese manager, Phil Neville believes it is finally time for Rashford to be given his chance in United’s next Premier League game.

‘He [Rashford] has to start (against Leicester) he’s in good form,’ Neville told Sky Sports.
The England youngster once again impressed when called upon by Jose Mourinho and heaped the pressure on Wayne Rooney in the process.

His willing forward runs led to an assist for Herrera’s goal before he followed that up with a simple tap-in after forcing Northampton goalkeeper Adam Smith into a horrible mistake.
